The Peninsula Compost Group, LLC, was founded in order to meet the growing need in the United States for alternative waste disposal methods that are both environmentally and economically friendly. Composting is a practical environmental solution that can decrease landfill waste, minimize greenhouse gases, and provide an excellent solution to restoring the climate and our soil. Since methane is one of the most powerful greenhouse gases, and landfills are the largest generators of methane in the United States, Peninsula creates a positive environmental impact by diverting organic waste from landfills and composting those materials, thereby significantly reducing the production of methane at those landfills. Peninsula utilizes its management expertise and wealth of industry knowledge to produce all natural, environmentally friendly organic compost and soil products for the commercial industries and residential communities which it serves.
